Mary during November 6-9 attending the World Thematic Conference held in The Hague on 'Improving Access to Public Services' . During the 2 day Conference delegates addressed issues relating to re-establishing the link between public management and social justice. Mary was invited to facilitate Panel Group Discussions to help towards creating an Access Agenda for research and action. Mary with fellow Into the West Railway Lobby Group members, Isabel McNally, Jim McBride and Eamonn McCann speaking with Brian McGuckian the independent transport researcher.  Brian gave a presentation on what he described as a practical proposal with detailed maps and costings for a transnational rail corridor between Sligo, Letterkenny, Derry and Belfast.
